I'm trying to get my writer'ly juices flowing, so I grabbed a few prompts from over at
commentfic. Two, so far. I may grab some more.
( Doctor Who, and Being Human )
( Doctor Who, and Being Human )
Finally was able to finish watching Being Human today, and I've gotta say I'm a huge fan. I was a huge fan after the first episode, and I'm a bigger fan now. Drama, angst, comedy, mutilation, and tons of slash'y subtext-- it's friggin' brilliant.
I love British TV so fuckin' hard.
Favorite lines from the last two episodes:
George runs into the room and smashes a chair on a vampire.
George: WHO WANTS MORE OF MY CHAIR?!
Annie runs in, breathing hard and opens her mouth to say something, then shuts it.
Annie: Oh, I really should have prepared something for this.
George: You're really sarcastic for a Vicar.
Priest: Yeah, sometimes I feel really bad about it but then I forgive myself.
And even though Tully only showed up for the second episode, there's so much slash'y hardly-sub subtext I feel inspired to write fan fic. BEWARE.

Has anyone watched the show Being Human? I need someone to squee about it with. I just watched the pilot and I'm already a HUGE fan.
For those not in the know: Imagine a nerdy werewolf, a gone-cold-turkey (mostly) vampire, and overly chipper ghost all live in the same flat. It's funny, and fucked up. I love it so far. Best of all, like all good BBC shows it's only 7 episodes so it's not too drawn out!
