  • Aug. 19th, 2009 at 11:26 PM
Cocaine!
Four AM bed time
Six AM wake up, Eight too
Nine AM, fuck it

Lost ten pounds this month
So excited, can't deny
Got to keep it up

MTA smells like
soot and poo, bus people are
kind of idiots

District 9, my love
How sweet thy sorrow and strife!
BETTER WIN AWARDS!!

Whoever heard of
fast food salads, and on that
subject, how so good?

Sushi dinner, NOM!
Surprise song from staff, how neat
Fruit instead of cake

Asked out on a date
Guy who kept me up 'til four
Nervous, and yet stoked

Magic Mountain, yay!
Tomorrow will be fun, woo!
Superman Escape!

So less suck: spent the past several hours talking to a hot guy who is way into me. Sweeeeet. Maybe this year will be better.

Apropos me
Yay. I'm twenty-five. I'm seeing District 9 in the morning with Carissa. This day sucked. Hopefully the next year doesn't so much.

Okay, so my birthday today was, for the most part, a totally awesome day and I'm really happy about it :D I'm used to let-down's in the past as far as birthdays go, so I'm really happy I had the chance to hang out with all my friends and do really fun shit.

It was Eric, Ash ([info]firestarter13), Nate, Carla, Alisha and I. We headed up to the Experience Music Project (slash) Science Fiction Museum and had a total blast. Learned about Jimi Hendrix a bit, something about Latin music, and inadvertently recorded a few new tracks for Apropos' demo.

Yeah way.

If you head to the myspace, listen to the tracks The Flesh I Leave (formerly Pardon Me), These Bombs Save Lives, and the total noise track Intelligent Design. We totally just went into a jam room they have at the museum and in ten minutes busted those-- as well as other things not going online-- out of our asses and they turned out really good... SO WE BOUGHT A CD OF OUR STUFF! All things considered, decent quality for a relatively low price. Go figure!

I also threw up the all bass track He's A Creature, a song I wrote a while back but forgot existed. Go me!

But all was not fun and games at the EMP, oh no. Miss Drama Mama reared her head in the form of Alisha's wife, Misty. Alisha accidentally took the only set of keys for their other car, and Misty was pretty late for work. It sucked, but it worked out in the end.

The only thing that made me sad was that I totally missed stopping by [info]badrobot68's shop! When I left the apartment this morning I totally didn't look up the name of the store, so when I got 'round those parts at 5:30 I totally had no idea where to go, and since everything was closing up pretty much about then we just stopped in a comic shop then went to get food. Sorry, man.

I have to say, though, I love Seattle so hard.

I am four 6s (read: two 12s)

  • Had a foot fetish forced upon me
Later I shall:
  • Go get my geek on, ACADEMICALLY!
  • Watch fish get thrown about
  • Visit Mr. [info]badrobot68's Wonder Emporium
